Look for Pelago at Twiistup

Many of you may not know me, but I joined Pelago in November of last year to work on public relations, marketing and community for the company. From that moment on, it’s been a Whrrl-wind – Pun intended!

As you saw, we had an amazing party at Barca here in Seattle to launch our alpha. Now, we’re setting our sights on… Los Angeles! That’s right. Just like the man said at the end of Pretty Woman, “Welcome to Hollywood, what’s your dream?” we have a dream, too – introduce Whrrl v2.0 beta at Twiistup.

What is Twiistup, you ask? Simply stated, it’s the premier Web 2.0 networking event in the Southern California area and beyond. Twiistup brings together folks in technology, media and entertainment, and has a strong focus on showcasing up-and-coming startups. Of course, we here at Pelago fit that bill, perfectly.
