Thanks for the feedback! Your first story is great, made me miss NYC and jealous of the pampering. :) The current widget just displays live (unedited), public stories. Since your story was edited on the web, it isn’t displayed in our current widget. We are working on some more ways to embed Whrrl into your blog, so keep an eye out in the coming weeks. OK, not sure what I’m doing wrong here. I published my first Whrrl story today (love it, BTW) and I want to add the widget to my blog. But when I try, it tells me to download the iPhone app first. I don’t have an iPhone, I just want the widget on my blog! Please help.

I love having the widget front and center on my blog – my readers can see what I’m up to! (And my life keeps getting more interesting because I want to keep my widget fresh and…well…some days are just not that compelling!)

Good point! We currently don’t have a generic “whrrl” account set up, since the product is focused on stories of real people. Instead, I’ve linked the image to http://whrrl.com/widgets. See my blog widget in action at http://www.hungrycrabb.com (it’s a work in progress). :)

Why didn’t you actually install one of your blog widgets on your blog? I was really surprised to click on that widget and get a jpg!
