Popular tech blogs GigaOm, VentureBeat, Silicon Alley Insider, and TechCrunch are banding together to celebrate “what went right in 2008″ with the 2008 Crunchies, which they describe as “our sometimes kitschy and irreverent awards ceremony”.

2008 has been a great year for us here at Pelago, and you can nominate Whrrl for the Best Mobile Award today!

We’re in the final few days to nominate Whrrl for Mashable’s 2nd Annual Open Web Awards, so head on over to Mashable and fill out this form to nominate Whrrl.  The deadline for nominations is this Sunday night at 11:59pm so don’t wait!
