Following breakfast, we leave Dar es salaam for our first stop at Mikumi National Park a 6 hours drive from Dar via Morogoro Refreshments and light snacks will be provided en-route. We will arrive in Mikumi national park at 1:00 pm. This often allows one to see the animals at rest, seeking shelter from the unrelenting heat under the branches of large trees. A leisurely lunch will be served inside the park. The remainder of the day will be spent inside the park. We’ll be back at the hotel between 8:00 am and 9:00 am for breakfast and afterward, drive for another game drive until lunchtime. After lunch, we will have a rest of 2 hours before going for an evening drive.
