    07:00 pickup Amman. Drive 1 hour to the Dead Sea, with about 400 meters below sea level the lowest point on earth. Make the unique bathing experience without being able to sink and soak in the dark mud at the shores. Towel will be provided, showers are available. Proceed 3.5 hours to Wadi Rum. This dramatic desert landscape features beautiful rock formations, rock inscriptions of different cultures and partly red sand dunes. The area had been become popular abroad by the film Lawrence of Arabia and The Martian. The 2.5 hours jeep ride will cover some of the landmarks. Late afternoon 1.5 hours transfer to your hotel in Petra (not included).

    You have a full day to explore the famous rock city of Petra. If needed the driver will pick you from your hotel and drop you at the Visitor Centre from where to start. You have the option to assign here a local guide (50 JD for a 2 hours tour in the lower parts of Petra). Petra is an UNESCO World Heritage Site and had been chosen as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. The Nabateans carved temples, tombs and houses in the soft sandstone and today you will see the Siq, the Treasury, the Street of Facades, the Royal Tombs. You have sufficient time to climb te 800 stairs to the Monastery El Deir. In the afternoon meet your driver who will drive you back safely to Amman.
