Fantastic way to experience HCM city traffic. Our drivers were great and fun; showed us many sites and we were able to walk around to get a closer look at some locations. The lunch provided was delicious and ample food.
Fun and value for money. They will pick you up at the hotel with the cyclo.
Good on time pick up and nice relaxing ride around parts of city. Lunch was basic but tasty.
Upon payment, the booking was confirmed quite fast and a staff from Cyclo Resto whatsapp me using English. The price at Pelago was cheaper than Klook at the point of booking, and essentially they are selling the same activity so you can refer to Klook for more reviews/details. On the actual day, the cyclos came punctual enough and soon we were off in the busy streets of Saigon. One thing I felt bad about was that our slow cyclos were holding up the busy traffic in District 1. The cyclo riders were elderly and pretty nice but most of them smoke while cycling. Added with the smog from the roads, I would recommend a mask and cap if you are on lunch ride. The ride was pretty short as part of it was a 20 min stop over at the Post Office for photos and shopping. Before coming to the end which is the cyclo resto, the riders asked us for tips. While I have already prepared tips for them, I felt it was inappropriate to ask us for tips. Lunch at the cyclo resto was decent. The staff there spoke English and the food was ample and tasty. Drinks are chargeable separately. We were served ice cream at the end of our meal in lieu of the egg coffee which I thought again, they should have asked us first. Overall, decent activity to observe Saigon though the ride is pretty short. Also, prepare mask, hats. 2 stars lost due to the hassling for tips and for serving ice cream instead of egg coffee without asking.
