Ambassador Cruise

The cruise and trip itself were great, but what was disappointing was the lack of communications on the transportation from Hanoi itself. No information on the type of vehicle/car plate was given and we were at the waiting point anxiously waiting for a vehicle to appear. When a mini van appeared bearing the Ambassador Cruise branding appeared, we thought it was that. Turns out, our names weren't on the list and we panicked. Thankfully, the coordinator from Ambassador was there and she helped us check, and later advised that it would be another transportation that would be picking us up as the booking wasn't direct with Ambassador itself. Similarly, when heading back after the cruise, we had to figure out which transport was ours, and thankfully we managed to locate it. Cruise wise, the food was pretty delectable and the variety for the buffet lunch was aplenty. Just a pity that the entire cruise was really packed.
Room was alright, but it seemed like the cruise operator gave us a room which had not been used for quite a while - evident from the amount of drain flies and the calcified bath gel dispenser. Having a room on the cruise definitely provided more comfort and peace to hide away from the crowd, and a private spot to wash up after the activities.
