Validity and usage of the Tokyo Subway Ticket:
Valid for exchange within 12 months from the date of purchase.
*The exchanged ticket is valid for 6 months.
*The valid time period will be printed on the ticket after passing through the ticket gate.
*If you enter within the valid time period, you may exit even if the valid time expires while you are still traveling.
*If the ticket is not used within the expiration date printed on the ticket, it will become invalid.
*If the exchanged ticket cannot be used at the automatic ticket gate, please inform the station staff. After verification, the ticket will be reissued.
*Partial exchange of the subway ticket is not available. Even if you purchase multiple tickets, one QR code will be issued per purchase. When the QR code is scanned at Tokyo Metro or Toei Subway, all valid subway tickets purchased in that transaction will be exchanged at once.
*If the magnetic strip of the Tokyo Subway Ticket becomes damaged or weakened, it may not function correctly at automatic ticket gates. Please avoid placing it near items that emit strong magnetic fields such as smartphones, electronic appliances, or wallets with magnetic clasps.

Q: I made a reservation, but was it properly reserved?
A: When your reservation is confirmed, we will send an email with instructions to your registered email address. Please check the reservation details and voucher. You can also review your reservation through the “Reservation Details” link in the email.

Q: I cannot print the voucher because I made the reservation from my smartphone. Can I exchange it just by displaying it on the screen?
A: Yes. Simply display the Tokyo City Pass on your smartphone screen and present it at the counter of each facility.

Q: How do I use it on the day of my visit?
A: A voucher with a QR code will be attached to the confirmation email sent after your reservation is completed. Please bring it with you on the day and exchange it for a boarding ticket set. For more details, please check each product page.
