Let's go to Korankei, the most popular autumn foliage spot in Aichi Prefecture! Let's go see the fantastic atmosphere of the illumination.
It is said that the maple trees in Korankei were first planted about 380 years ago by the 11th abbot of Kashakuji Temple, Sanei. The contrast between the approximately 3,000 maple trees and the clear river is beautiful, and when the mountain is lit up, the entire mountain turns golden, creating a fantastic sight different from that of the day.

In the Obara area, famous for its seasonal cherry blossoms, more than 10,000 trees are planted throughout the area. The Four Seasons Cherry Blossoms bloom twice a year, in spring and fall. In autumn, the blossoms bloom from around October, and visitors can see both the autumn leaves and the pale pink cherry blossoms at the same time. In November, when the cherry blossoms are at their best, the “Four Seasons Cherry Blossom Festival” is held at various locations in the Obara area, attracting many visitors.
