7:30-8:00 Drive to visit Cu Chi Underground Tunnel - a battle field in the Vietnam War. On arrival, watch a documentary video about Cu Chi tunnels. After a short walk into the forest, visit Hoang Cam smoke-less stove, secret hideouts, fighting bunkers, dangerous booby traps and tanks. Then, visit the common parts of the tunnels and crawl through narrow passageways to experience yourself. Taste typical boiled tapioca and tea.

Afternoon visit Reunification Palace. On April 30th 1975 the ‘American War’ officially ended when tank number 843 of North Vietnamese Army crashed through the gates of the Reunification Palace. At that time, it was residence of President of Republic of Vietnam.

Then continuing to visit War Remnants Museum, which used to be call Museum of American War Crimes. This popular museum offers a comprehensive collection of war machinery, weapons, artifacts, documentation as well as touching photograph exhibition dedicated to both foreign and Vietnamese journalists who perished during the conflict.

07:15 – 07:45 Pick you up from your hotel or private address to travel around Hanoi. Explore the local market and learn about Vietnamese culture by observing the daily lives of local people. Then visit a Hanoi icon in all senses: the Long Bien Bridge, formerly known as the Paul Doumer Bridge, was one of the greatest engineering accomplishments of the French colony and a showpiece of colonial infrastructure. In the Vietnam War, it became a symbol of Hanoi’s resistance to relentless US bombing.

Visit the Mausoleum and the stilt house garden, the final resting place of the Vietnam national hero, President Ho Chi Minh, where he lived off and on from 1958 to 1969.

Hoa Lo Prison Relic, one of the five scariest places in Southeast Asia. You will see how the French tortured political prisoners and the efforts of Vietnamese political prisoners during their stay here, as well as American pilots who had been shot down from 1964 to 1973, who called this prison "Hanoi Hilton Hotel". McCain, a U.S. senator, was also detained here until 1973.
