Mount Fuji 5th station is located halfway up Mt. Fuji at an altitude of 2,305 meters. The highest mountain in Japan has a different mood from a distance to a close one. Looking up at the summit from the closest distance to Mount Fuji, you can feel the magnificent beauty of it. When the weather is clear and cloudless, you can overlook the beautiful scenery of the surrounding area, such as famous Kawaguchi Lake. When the clouds linger, you can overlook the beautiful sea of clouds. You can have lunch here and prepare your climbing equipment. After about 1 hour of free activities, the climbing will begin. Due to the possibility of bus changes on the return journey and the inability to store luggage on the bus, if you need luggage storage, you can store it at the 5th Station (Gogoen Resthouse) at your own expense (S-sized locker 500 yen, M-sized locker 1000 yen, L-sized locker 2000 yen). Please note that if lockers are full, luggage storage may not be possible. This itinerary involves climbing, so please store large luggage in Tokyo in advance.

The climbing route is from Mount Fuji 5th station to the mountain hut of 7th station, lasts for 7-8 hours. There is always a professional leader by your side during the climbing tour. Due to personal reasons such as physical or health issues, the guide reserves the right to terminate the climb. In such cases, departure procedures will be carried out according to regulations. When leaving the group, guests are responsible for any expenses incurred for accommodation, rest, or return travel outside of designated accommodation facilities. During the descent, there will be no guide accompanying you. Please make sure to arrive at the designated meeting point at the 5th Station before the return time specified by the guide.

Enjoy a light meal for breakfast. 8th Station (Hachigome) → 8.5th Station (Hachigome Goshaku) → Summit of Mount Fuji (Goraikō) → Descent Trail → 5th Station (approximately 7-9 hours, departure and arrival times at the 5th Station are subject to daily conditions, returning to the 5th Station around 10:30 am). The sunrise at the summit of Mount Fuji is known as "Goraikō" in Japan. The solemn and mysterious appearance of the morning sun slowly rising from between the sea of clouds is a unique and moving sight of Mount Fuji. In good weather conditions, Goraikō can be observed along most of the Yoshida trail or at the summit.
