Bangkok’s former city centre used to be around the Grand Palace, further north of where it is now located. During the reign of King Rama IV, new roads were constructed to ease traffic and these were not too far away from the Chao Phraya River. Our morning will include along 3 of these main roads: Charoen Krung (also called New Road), Bam Rung Muang and Fueng Nakorn. Transfers are only operated within the downtown Bangkok areas and restricted to main hotels only. Regions outside the central business district such as Khao San Road, Rattanakosin, Nonthaburi, Thonburi, Minburi, both International Airports, Ratchadapisek and upper Sukhumvit (Soi 55 and further) are excluded and supplementary charges apply
