adventure from Perth to Exmouth. This isn’t your average road trip—it’s a

Wander through the otherworldly Pinnacles Desert, hike deep into Kalbarri’s
rugged red gorges, and soak up sweeping views from the Skywalk. Meet the
famous wild dolphins at Monkey Mia, stroll across the blinding white sands of
Shell Beach, and check out the ancient Stromatolites—Earth’s oldest living

Day 1: Perth - Kalbarri


Kick things off in the world’s most remote capital before heading north into
the surreal Pinnacles Desert of Nambung National Park. Stop for lunch at
seaside Jurien Bay, cruise up Indian Ocean Drive, and snap pics at the
stunning Pink Lake (conditions permitting). Rest up in the coastal haven of
Kalbarri for the night.

Day 2: Kalbarri - Monkey Mia


Start with a sunrise to remember at Nature’s Window or the epic Kalbarri
Skywalk. Hike through the striking Murchison Gorge and Z-Bend, where water has
sculpted ancient red rock into deep canyons. (Wildflower season = bonus
colour!) Cruise into Monkey Mia just in time for a beachfront sunset.

natural wonders: Shell Beach, made entirely of tiny white shells, and the
living fossil beds of the Stromatolites. Arrive in Coral Bay, right on the
edge of the Ningaloo Reef.

Day 4: Coral Bay - Exmouth

vibrant coral gardens up close. In the evening, we journey to Exmouth, where
we’ll stay for two nights in the heart of town.

humpbacks (Aug–Oct)—a life-changing experience! Cap it off with a golden
sunset at Vlamingh Head Lighthouse.

sunset arrival in Geraldton for your final group dinner.

Day 7: Geraldton - Perth

Lookout before cruising back to Perth, arriving around 6:00pm.

WEATHER:


The weather in Western Australia can fluctuate and be extreme at times. It is
not unheard of for temperatures to reach over 40+ degrees Celsius during the
day and in the evening the temperature drops dramatically. Please ensure you
have checked the average temperatures for the time of year you are travelling
and have packed adequate clothing. In the event of rain or inclement weather,
your experience will still go ahead, unless contacted by the provider.


IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

  • Any known medical conditions must be disclosed at the time of booking. This tour is physically demanding and requires a moderate to advanced level of fitness and mobility.
  • A moderate to advanced fitness level is required. Daily walks range from 2 to 3 km and include uneven, rocky terrain, direct sun, and humidity. One walk is approximately 8 km in length. Walks are taken at the guide’s discretion for safety reasons. Travellers aged 75 and over must provide a doctor’s certificate at least 30 days prior to departure.
  • This touring brand is for adults aged 18 years and over only. Children are not permitted under this fare type. If you are seeking private room upgrades please book with Autopia Tours.
  • Travellers booked under the Basix Shared Accommodation fare (WPXR7-B) will be placed in shared bunk rooms with communal bathrooms. This fare is available only to travellers aged 18 years and over.
  • This tour is not suitable for mobility-impaired travellers, including those using wheelchairs, walkers, prams, or strollers, due to the remote and rugged terrain.
  • Due to limited storage space on the vehicle, each traveller may bring one soft travel bag (up to 15 kg) and one small day pack (up to 5 kg). Larger suitcases should be stored at your accommodation before departure.
