We are selling entry tickets for the 42nd Carter Memorial Kurobe Famous Water
Marathon, which will be held in Kurobe City, Toyama Prefecture, an area filled
with the natural beauty of the snow-capped Tateyama mountain range and the sea
of Toyama Bay.

The full marathon will be held on Sunday, May 25, 2025.

Please come and join us for the marathon, which runs through the "Village of
Famous Water," where you can enjoy warm support from local residents along the
route, the spring waters of the 3,000m-high Northern Alps, and hospitality for
runners after the race.

Before or after the marathon, you can choose to stay at Unazuki Onsen, where
you can enjoy seafood and mountain produce as well as hot springs, or in
Toyama City, which has good transport access.

-Course Introduction-

This course is full of sights rich in nature, passing through Kurobe Unazuki
Onsen Station on the Hokuriku Shinkansen, a new attraction in Kurobe City, as
well as the Ijika springs, the Kurobe River, and Unazuki.
