— What You Can Expect —

Embark on an extraordinary cycling adventure to the breathtaking Sticky
Waterfall, also known as Bua Tong waterfall. Starting from the Mae Kuang
reservoir, you have the option to take a scenic long tail boat ride across the
lake to the beginning of the cycling route. Traverse serene country roads,
dirt tracks, and single tracks, passing through lush teak forests, caves,
villages, and temples, until you reach the remarkable Sticky Waterfall. Here,
you can take a well-deserved break, climb the tiers of the waterfall, and bask
in the refreshing waters.

After a delicious lunch at the waterfall, our guides will accompany you back
to the Trailhead office or your accommodation upon request. The Sticky
Waterfall Explorer tour is suitable for all ages, but it is recommended to
have a good level of fitness and cycling confidence.

— Itinerary —

• 8:30 am: Hotel pick-up and transfer to the Trailhead office (available for hotels within Chiang Mai Old Town area)
• 9:00 am: Warm welcome, introduction, and complimentary coffee. Meet our friendly team and receive a comprehensive briefing, including a safety briefing, about the cycling tour
• 9:30 am: Depart from the office and begin the exciting ride towards the reservoir
• 10:15 am: Arrive at the starting point and commence the ride, enjoying the scenic surroundings
• 10:45 am: Embark on a 2 km boat ride across the reservoir
• 12:15 pm: Explore Luang cave, home to thousands of bats and other remarkable wildlife
• 2:30 pm: Reach Sticky Waterfall and cool down as you soak in the refreshing waters
• 3:00 pm: Indulge in a delicious Thai lunch accompanied by a refreshing coconut drink
• 4:00 pm: Wrap up the program and transfer back to the Trailhead office or your hotel
• 5:00 pm: Arrive at the Trailhead office or your hotel, concluding an unforgettable cycling adventure

— Important Information —

• The tour is supported by vehicles to provide convenience and assistance throughout the journey. However, it is recommended to have a good level of fitness to fully enjoy the experience
• The trail consists of a mix of paved roads, gravel, and dirt, including some technical sections. The total distance covered is approximately 25-30 km
• Riders are advised to have prior experience and confidence in cycling to fully enjoy the tour
• If you have any dietary restrictions or requests, please do so when making your booking
• Kindly provide the height of each participant during the booking process to ensure suitable bicycle arrangements
• A complimentary pick-up service is available within a one-kilometer radius inside and outside the ancient city. For areas beyond this range, a fee of THB300 per person per way applies. Please make payment directly to the driver on the day of the tour
• When making your booking, please provide the name and address of your hotel in English
• If you are bringing your own bicycle, please select the correct package accordingly
