Every year this place is visited by more than 360 thousand people, many of them make use of its library called Mario Vargas Llosa, one of the most striking cultural spaces in the city.

However, the highlight is found underground: the catacombs that served as a cemetery during colonial times. Thousands of people were buried here, and walking through the narrow, gloomy hallways is a truly unique experience.
