Located on the banks of the Meguro River, the Kappo Yuzuha restaurant is a
dreamlike sight with its romantic cherry blossoms in spring, and its fiery
maple leaves in autumn. Prior to becoming the owner of Kappo Yuzuha, Chef
Daisuke Okada worked at several Japanese restaurants, including Shibazakura at
the Prince Park Tower Tokyo. Chef Okada has a keen sense of seasonal changes
and personally selects each ingredient to ensure its freshness and taste, and
to maximize its seasonal characteristics. Every week, he meets with his
vegetable suppliers to discuss every detail of the menu; every morning, he
goes to Toyosu Seafood Market in person to select freshly caught fish and
seafood. For the restaurant’s signature mixed rice, he only uses Hokkaido
seven-star rice, which has a balanced, fresh and refreshing taste. "For the
