If you are a lover of nature and adventure, this will be the perfect tour for you! The tour of Tara Mountain offers pleasurable sightseeing of the beautiful Serbian wild nature. The tour starts with a visit to the beautiful Podrinje Gate viewpoint overseeing the mountain area of Bajina Bašta, a look at the unique Little House on Drina River that has been talked about in many world-renowned travel magazines. After this, we visit Vrelo restaurant, located on the waterfall of a small river Vrelo that collapses into Drina. The next stop is Banjska stena viewpoint, the most beautiful viewpoint on Tara Mountain, but also one of the most beautiful and well-known viewpoints in Serbia. We end the tour with Drvengrad, a very special ethno village built by a famous film director Emir Kusturica. The village has been made as an homage to famous film directors, actors, football players, and authors… people who impacted Kusturica’s life. A truly unique place in a unique setting.

Podrinje Gate is a viewpoint at Bajina Bašta municipality, located at 925 meters above sea level, next to the Valjevo-Bajina Bašta highway. This place presents the point from which starts the entrance to the magical Drina valley and our acquaintance with the beauties of Podrinje region. A little wooden house on an isolated rock in the middle of the Drina River became a true world attraction. This house located at Bajina Bašta resists nature for 45 years, and after National Geographic magazine devoted one of its issues to it, Daily Mail also wrote about this magical handmade piece. Recently, Business Insider also mentioned it and ranked it top 16 weirdest houses in the world. The Little House on Drina is a symbol of Bajina Bašta and one of the most famous river landmarks in Serbia and the whole Podrinje region, also known as Zelenika. The whole garden area of the Vrelo restaurant is covered by trees that are making a very pleasant shade even during the biggest summer heat. It is located 6 kilometers from Mitrovac and the way to get there is by two marked walking trails and a macadam road. The location of the viewpoint is at 1065 meters above sea level and from it, we can see an unreal view of the Perućac Lake, Drina canyon, and Osata area in the nearby Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is fenced with a secure wooden fence and there is a bench that allows you to sit and enjoy the magical landscape. This viewpoint has become extremely popular in recent years, therefore as a special nature reserve of Uvac we can consider it a symbol of Serbian tourism.Drvengrad
