After removing some materials and ashes, in order to protect the remains of the Shurijo Castle main hall, it was restored with soil and covered with eaves, and then opened to the public. The remains of the main hall of the Shuri Castle are registered as a World Cultural Heritage. The Shuri Castle Ruins, which symbolize the country's designated historical monuments, is an important cultural asset.

Beautiful garden with wonderful castle walls although the building itself is still being reconstructed after a fire in 2019. Completed within less than an hour.

The main palace that burnt down is not open yet. Will open only in 2026. Still interesting stuff to see
