We visit the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S21), once a prison during the Khmer Rouge regime, and the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek, a memorial site honoring the victims of this dark period. Shifting to the city’s lively side, we stop at the Central Market (Psar Thmei), a landmark with an Art Deco design and vibrant stalls. After lunch, the tour continues to Phnom Oudong, located about 40 kilometers northwest of the city.
