Fast response and efficient follow-up. All went smoothly even when we booked our pass just a few days before we depart for Japan. Thank you.
Redeeming the JR Tohoku Pass was easy. I got them exchanged at the JR Ticketing Office at Haneda International Airport without having to queue long. Managed to book seats for our shinkansen rides, as well as Joyful train - Resort Shirakami. It was a pleasant surprise to be allocated the box seats all to ourselves. Got the pass at a discount so it was cheaper than other platforms. At the same time, I could earn Krisflyer points. The pass was very good and cost effective for exploring Tohoku and I heard now there is a 10-day pass which would be even more perfect.
very good pricing & validity. Easy & simple to redeem. Highly recommended!

The JR Tohoku Pass turned out to be incredibly convenient and great value for money. It covers unlimited travel on JR East trains, including shinkansen and local lines, for 5 days—perfect for exploring the Tohoku region without worrying about individual ticket costs. we saved a lot compared to buying tickets separately, especially with multiple long-distance trips. We used the pass to travel to Aomori in winter, and it was truly a worthwhile experience. The snowy scenery was breathtaking, and the area had a serene, quiet charm that stood in contrast to Japan’s busier tourist destinations. From relaxing in an outdoor onsen in Oirase while snow gently fell, to exploring the vibrant Nebuta Museum, and even riding the nostalgic Tsugaru Railway’s winter stove train to visit the former home of author Dazai Osamu—Aomori in winter offers a uniquely atmospheric and memorable escape.
