Nagarkot (2175m) is probably the best place to view the Himalaya from the comfort of your Hotel balcony. A scenic hike to Dhulikhel a quieter, less developed place and to observe the high Himalayas adds the extra thrill in the trip. A legend village Panauti has some ancient temples which have stood the test of time partly because of Panauti’s legendary resistance of earthquake.
