spectacular Double Island Point, only accessible by 4wd vehicles driving along
the beach.

View the highly active local marine life in a unique dolphin kayaking

aquatic activities in one day!

Departure :

This tour departs beautiful Noosa , collecting you from the fruit store
close to the LEXIS school. We then drive to the Noosa North Shore where we
enter the beach for a 1-hour stunning beach drive through the Great Sandy
National Park. Our final destination is Double Island Point, a hidden slide of
paradise, and home to the famous coloured sand cliffs of Rainbow Beach. This
remote location with untouched nature has a large hub of marine wildlife,
including dolphins, whales (Oct-Jun), manta rays, turtles, sting rays, soldier
crabs and so much more!

Activity 1:

When we arrive at Double Island Point, we will set up on the beach, and while
the tour guides are getting the equipment ready, you can enjoy a swim in the
crystal clear waters.

We will then do a safety instruction and hit the water and paddle around the
spectacular headland for our most popular dolphin view kayak tour, spotting
dolphins, but also turtles, manta rays and whales (Jun-Oct) along the way. We
have a 90% strike rate of seeing dolphins, with often very close encounters.

**Activity 2: **

After the kayaking, you will get to enjoy a surf lesson at the famous point
break of Double Island Point. When the conditions are good, waves here can be
hundreds of meters long, and very beginner friendly. It's the best location
along the coast to learn to surf, and we are the only surf school allowed to
teach on a point break and at this surf paradise.

Double Island Point offers crystal clear, warm waters and uncrowded waves that
seem to go forever. The place is still one of Australia’s best kept secrets
and its only accessible by 4wd. Get the chance to surf with dolphins that live

Itinerary (6-7 hours) :

- Depart Noosa in 4WD vehicles onto Noosa North Shore ferry and the
beach.

- Travel along Teewah Beach, taking in the views & passing the famous
coloured sand cliffs to arrive at Double Island Point.

- Equipment set up and time for a swim.

- Safety briefing and instruction briefing on the beach.

- Casual guided paddle out around to the top of the headland,, taking in the
spectacular views

- See local Bottlenose dolphin pods playing and feeding up close in the
area.

- Whales on migration coming in for a rest or to check us out and put on
a show

- Many different turtles resting and feeding in the shallows

- Get a unique view of the Double Island Point Lighthouse from the water.

- Catch a wave back to the beach with your kayak!

- Join in on a guided surf lesson with one of our qualified instructors.

- Catch point break waves up to 100 meters long.

- Enjoy a light refreshment.

- Time for another swim in the crystal clear warm waters of Double Island
Point.

- Return trip along the beach back to Noosa.
