The wet phase is when the wetlands comes alive with renewed energy and new
life. This is all part of a wetting and drying regime that compliments the
natural wetting and drying cycles of the wetlands. This allows us to manage
the ecosystem and support positive flora and fauna development, particularly
among a range of endangered species. Ecological monitoring and the evaluation
of environmental assets are regularly completed in order to retain our Ramsar
accreditation.

This is a wonderfully beautiful time to visit, the site displays a unique
range of flora and fauna species that have rejuvenated during these months and
is such a treat on your self-guided walk.

Whether you choose to enjoy the vistas from our gorgeous comfortable deck or
head down for a wander along the many interesting paths through the terrain
and vineyards, your experience finishes

with a Banrock Tasting experience where our team will guide you through a
selection of our wines all sourced from the region.
