Then it’s already time to take in the medieval town of Kamnik that is cradled by the surrounding mountains, creating a wonderful backdrop. There is a reception before dinner and a presentation of the itinerary by a local travel agency.

Next comes a pleasurable descent along peaceful local roads to the mountain village of Luče that is hidden between the mountains and the River Savinja, one of Slovenia’s cleanest rivers. Your host for this night is local family at House Raduha with one of the best restaurants in Slovenia.
