The taxi driver was not from Phuket (which is fine) and did not know the location of my residence (which is inside a hotel resort that has existed for >20 years), and took a long roundabout route, against my request (I'm an expat, I live in Phuket, and I speak Thai), and lied about road construction. So the ride itself wasn't great and was about 15 minutes longer than if I had booked with KKDay or Klook. Also, the person waiting for me at the airport made me queue up for another 20 minutes as the cab driver was not allowed to wait for pickups. Would not go with Pelago again.
Disappointing. Flight was on time but driver never showed up. Waited for a long time. Customer service tried to help but I ended up cancelling, requesting a full refund & took a local taxi instead.
