The construction of the dam required the dismantling stone by stone of the two temples at the very top of the cliff in which they had been dug. The temple was therefore raised by about 60 meters. The task was complex, since it was necessary to reconstruct the mountain as it was. The two temples were first cut into blocks of 15 tons, which corresponds to the clearing of 31,0000 tons of rock, without using explosives. Each of the stones has been numbered and then reassembled.
