Dear Chris and Carol, My husband and I really enjoyed our Nepean Belle Paddle Wheeler morning cruise with Captain Chris Bennett at the helm. We were placed in the enclosed top deck at a lovely, large table booth for two with great 360 degree unobstructed views shared with a few other guests. We were lucky to have a glorious, sunny day, no wind and we were snug inside the upper deck area with air conditioning. A nice change after a week of wild wet weather and some flooding in the Nepean. The deck below was a lot noisier with a large group tour of people, so we appreciated the quieter atmosphere to enjoy the peaceful, natural habitat of the Nepean gorge. We were served lovely warm scones with jam, cream along with a cup of brewed tea and felt right at home. The facilities are great with a cash bar downstairs and toilets top deck with friendly, hospitable staff members wearing lovely neat uniforms. After morning tea we ventured outside on the upper deck to check out the big paddlewheel and walk along the lovely old deck. We enjoyed chatting with Chris who shared a bit of history of the Nepean Belle Paddle Wheeler as well as the Warragamba Dam build and flow. Chris is fun, interesting and shared his sailing experiences with us as well as the thrill of supervised steering of the Paddle Wheeler. Carol, farewelled us at the upper Gate to the carpark and shared her tips on good local lunch venues. Thank you both for your warm, fun hospitality as well as your team who made us feel so welcome. We would highly recommend the Nepean Belle Paddle Wheeler cruise. Best regards, Margarita and Sam.
