The Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, and Oxford Tour from London, booked via Pelago, was a great experience despite the rain throughout most of the day. At Windsor Castle, the grandeur of the State Apartments and St. George’s Chapel made up for the gloomy weather. Stonehenge had an almost mystical feel under the dark clouds, adding to its mysterious allure. While the rain and wind made it tricky to fully enjoy the site, the visitor center offered great insights into its history. Oxford was beautiful, even under grey skies. Strolling through the historic streets with umbrellas in hand felt like stepping into a classic British novel. Our guide kept things interesting with fascinating stories about the university and its famous alumni. The tour was well-organized, the transport was comfortable, and our guide (Apolonia, if I remember correctly) was engaging. However, if given the chance, I would love to spend more time at each location, as the schedule felt a bit rushed. There’s so much more to explore, and a longer visit would truly allow for a deeper experience. That said, booking through Pelago was seamless, and this tour is still a great way to see three iconic landmarks in a day!
