Atlas Mountains in the background, we'll drive through the seemingly endless Agafay desert, remote Berber outposts, and pass by Lake Takerkouste – an oasis of green in the harshest of landscapes. Mid-way, we'll stop in a village for some freshly-brewed mint tea and for you to admire the stacks of ochre-coloured houses and the way of life close up. During the return journey, you'll be able to see why Marrakech is nicknamed the ‘Red City' at a panoramic viewpoint that's off the beaten track.
