We were very disappointed with our experience. We felt that the advert did not correspond with the reality of our tour. We were expecting to swim with manta rays, hopefully see sea turtles and other beautiful tropical fish. But instead, we did not go out to sea where we could snorkel, we stayed in the harbour and swam in a pool closely off the shore from the jetty, and only saw rocks and small fish. We just feel that this was false advertising from Pelago's side. We spent most of the day, until after lunch, doing a land tour. Even this part of the tour advertised didn't explain how strenuous and actually quite dangerous the hiking (trekking) to the lookout points can be. Our guide could hardly speak English, and wasn't very helpful and informative of what we were sightseeing. We admired the beauty of the island, but we were deeply disappointed by the whole experience.
