!!! FOOD POISONING !!! 2 weeks ago I participated this cruise with my mother. Prawns were served onboard which I did not eat (due to pregnancy) but my mother did. 4 hours later my mother fell seriously ill. Had to get a an emergency doctor + team to visit us in our hotel, and they confirmed food poisoning by prawns. It was frightening, she was terribly ill. She needed IV drip and antibiotic treatment. We were left with a huge bill (25,000 baht) and it’s needles to say that our trip was ruined, without even mentioning the mental and physical toll this took to my mother (who is very fit and healthy in general). We contacted the trip provider immediately, they refused any responsibility and just started to ignored us. We have contacted Pelago (with all medical reports and proof) but they are not interested to take action either, and continue to promote this service as usual. Book with you own risk.
