Even if you have lots of experience, the M’Goun Massif has plenty for you to enjoy as an Atlas Mountains tour. You’ll be further out from Marrakech than if you were visiting the Toubkal region and the scenery and the landscape are simply stunning.

Agouti to Arouss

Along the way we'll pass through some great countryside and quite a few traditional Berber villages. 8 hoursAdmission Ticket Not IncludedWhen you awake, we will begin our trek to the foot of M'Goun. It will be quite a long day (perhaps 7 or 8 hours of walking) but the journey itself will make it worthwhile! We'll take you through some wild Moroccan landscape to the Aghouri pass at 3450m before descending to the wind-eroded and snow-covered high plateau of Tarkedit at 2900m where we will have our lunch. After our food, we will establish a camp at 3400m directly below M'goun West, ready for our attempt on the summit.- AccommodationsNight at Tent

The trek follows a long ridge, all at or above 4,000m, which typically takes between 4 and 5 hours to the summit, depending on snow conditions. From the top, there are impressive views across the Draa valley and towards the Sahara Desert to the south.
