Arguably the highlight of the evening is the Ritual of Killing of the Living Dead, re-enacted based on ancient burial rites. The night continues with excitement, cheers, and a dash of friendly rivalry as guests compete for the Trophy for Best Halloween Costume—a title that carries eternal bragging rights (or at least until the next full moon). Those who endure until the end will take the solemn and slightly dramatic Survivor’s Oath. The Great Dracula Ball ends at 01:00 am.
