You'll be picked up from your hotel at around 4am (depending on train time) and taken to the train station. Travel by train through a picturesque route for 1.40 hours until you reach kilometer 104, the start of the trail. Hike for about 5 hours up to the Inca site of Wiñay Wayna ('Forever Young') located at 2,680 meters (8,792feet) high. You'll join the path on the way to Machu Picchu, continuing to the Famous Sun gate at 2,730 meters (8,792 feet).Your first breathtaking panoramic view of Machu Picchu (2,400 meters/7,873 feet). Walk down the last portion of the trail to reach the ancient city itself where we will go and explore in our Guiding tour, later in the afternoon we will take the train and bus back to Cusco.
