This pass is for Non-Japanese Citizens only. You will be required to present your passport for verification upon ticket collection.
Child Policy
Children under 5 years are free of charge. Each paying guest may bring up to 2 children who are eligible for free admission.
Good to know
These trains below cannot be used-
Bullet Train "HOKURIKU SHINKANSEN" (between Joetsu-Myoko and Tokyo)
Bullet Train "TOKAIDO SHINKANSEN" (between Shin-Osaka and Tokyo)
Bullet Train "SANYO SHINKANSEN" (between Okayama and Hakata)
The Special Rapid "A Seat" paid seating Service
Not valid for the IR Ishikawa Railway or the Ainokaze Toyama Railway.
As a special exception, the pass can be used for the Himi, Johana, or Nanao lines only if the pass-holder does not alight from the IR Ishikawa Railway (between Kanazawa and Tsubata) or the Ainokaze Toyama Railway (between Takaoka and Toyama).
Limited express trains can be used on the IR Ishikawa Railway (between Kanazawa and Tsubata).
If using the Ainokaze Liner rapid service on the Ainokaze Toyama Railway, a separate "liner fare" is required.
Exchanging reserved seat tickets: before getting on the train, please go to green ticket-vending machines and pick up physical reserved seat tickets by the area pass.
