Begin your day with an exciting sumo show featuring former professional wrestlers. Enjoy interactive demonstrations, learn about sumo’s history, rituals, and techniques, and take memorable photos with the wrestlers over lunch.
The sumo show finishes at 3:00 PM, so you’ll have just enough time to head to Ryogoku Kokugikan for the Grand Sumo Tournament. Your A-class chair seat ticket will be provided by the sumo show staff. From your premium seat, you’ll catch the thrilling climax, including the “Makuuchi Dohyo-iri” (top division ring-entering ceremony) around 3:40 PM and the most exciting matches of the day!

What is Chanko Nabe?
Chanko is a traditional Japanese hot pot dish closely associated with sumo wrestling culture. Packed with nutritious ingredients, it is the daily meal of sumo wrestlers, providing them with the energy and strength needed for their rigorous training and matches.
How to get to Ryogoku Kokugikan
From Yokozuna Tonkatsu Dosukoi Tanaka, it’s about a 20–30 minute walk to Ryogoku Kokugikan.
If you prefer to take a taxi, please let the staff know when you receive your ticket.
