The Testaccio market in Rome is a great place to sample authentic Roman street cuisine,this market offers a wide selection of fresh and delicious food.
Here you can find a variety of stands selling Roman specialties such as supplì (fried rice balls filled with mozzarella), trapizzino (a combination of pizza and sandwich filled with various ingredients), porchetta (roasted pork), tripe alla Romana (tripe cooked with tomato and mint) and much more.
You can also find stands selling cheeses, cured meats, fresh fruit and vegetables, freshly baked bread and traditional Roman desserts such as cannoli and Maritozzo
