Resting in the foothills of the Julian Alps and set along the glacial Lake Bled, it is among the most famous attractions in Slovenia. To see Slovenia’s most famous and only island, you can opt for a scenic ride in the traditional Pletna boat or enjoy the panoramic views and learn about the town’s history on a tour of the magnificent Bled castle. Lake Bled & Kayaking on Sava River
