Our Tour Guide Ma Chan is super knowledgeable, generous, and helpful. Right from the very start, my wife and daughter were not feeling well and had to spend some time in the bathroom and she was very helpful. In the end, we started the tour on time and we had lots of fun. Also, at the restaurant I left my glasses and our bus had already departed. So she called the restaurant, found my glasses and made arrangements to have them shipped next morning to my hotel in Osaka. It actually arrived as promised and I was very impressed. This positive feedback is just about how caring Ma Chan is as a person! The tour itself is great too. She explained the key sights along the way, she led us through the Bamboo Forest in Arashimaya, Golden Pavillion Temple, To Dai Ji temple in Nara, and of course the hungry deers in Nara Park. My family enjoyed the trip even though we didn't start out so positive in the morning but the day turned out fantastic and memorable. The Tour Guide definitely makes a difference.
Tour was done by Limon. This is a high quality tour company. Well organized and efficient. Our tour guide Josh was patient in explaining everything. Highly recommended.
Amazing tour - highly recommend it. Our tour guide Jewell was probably the best tour guide we’ve had in Japan so far
Rainy during second half of the tour so it took part of the fun out of the Kinkakuji Temple and Nara Deer Park visits. Guide spoke perfect English. Would be better if he had given more (historical) information about the places we were visiting. At Arashiyama Park, we dispersed and were given free time to wander. 2 groups of us got lost and did not know how to walk back to our meeting point at the bus park. I had to take a taxi to get back to the meeting point. Would be good if the tour agent could provide a WhatsApp contact number in case we got lost (which we did). Enjoyed interacting with the free-roaming deer at the Nara Deer Park. Highlight of the day.
You'll get to see the Arashiyama bamboo forest and the golden pavilion, and pet Nara deer on this tour. With regards to lunch options, I got the beef shabu-shabu set which was rather mid. I would recommend keeping an eye out for interesting lunch places around the Arashiyama area to save some money. The thing about selecting one of the lunch options is that the tour guide will pay for your entry ticket to the golden pavilion and the Nara temple, but I decided to pass on seeing the Nara temple. Overall it was an okay experience, 7/10.
Too rush, limited time at each slots.
