This trip will take you away from the crowds of Chiang Mai town to Sop Win
village in Mae wang district, a peaceful place.

Get into a 4 wheel drive vehicle to the jungle, pass the hill tribe village,
fields, orchards and forests, where you will see people living with nature.
Spend 45 minutes on the jungle road to the top of the mountain, then we will
reach the hidden temple Luang Khun Win.

See the beauty of Lanna art in the midst of nature The temple is filled with
beautiful architecture and built with faith and intricateness. Inside
enshrines a large glass Buddha image carved from a single large tree. There is
also a quiet and peaceful atmosphere, breathing fresh air and visiting The
carved wood halls. Take your time to explore this 700 years old temple.

Leave from the temple and get down from the mountain by 4 wheel drive vehicle.
Heading to Phu Tawan Restaurants, a beautiful place for lunch and having a
good meal with a good atmosphere at the riverside. The elephant village is in
the same area of the restaurant. During the meal we can see how the elephants
and villagers live together and you can visit and feed the elephants here.
Sometimes you can see the elephants shower in the river. These elephants have
been trained to be cute.

• 08.30 Pick up from the hotel and drive about 1 hour to Sop Win village at Mae Wang District, South of Chiang Mai.
• 09.30 Arrive at Sop Win Village, hop on 4x4 drive about 45 mins. for heading to Luang Khun Win Temple.
• 10.15 Arrive at Luang Khun Win Temple, walk around and explore this beautiful place like a hidden gem in the middle of the forest, there is gorgeous especially Lanna art and architecture
• 12.00 Drive to the riverside restaurant
• 12.45 Enjoy your Thai food, relax with the river view and you can see many activities in the river such as bamboo rafting or elephant shower and after lunch walk around to visit elephant villages nearby you can feed the elephants and take photos with them.
• 15.30 Leave from Mae Wang and return to Chiang Mai.
• 17.00 Arrive at your hotel.
