The old town of Hoechst is situated on the banks of the River Main, where it meets the River Nidda. This quaint city district is filled with fascinating German architecture, remnants of the city's fortification, one of the oldest churches in Germany and some beautiful state parks.


Join me as I take you on a local's tour of the streets of Hoechst, discovering the winding medieval laneways, the famed half timbered architecture and Hoechst's endless historical buildings. Since 1972, this town, one of the oldest districts in Frankfurt, has been preserved as a site of historic interest. A trip not to be missed when you come to Frankfurt.
