Get to know Salta and its Spanish colonial architecture and Andean heritage
Highlights
Departure at “Valle de Lerma” to Carril town, going on by Chicoana and entering “Quebrada de los laureles and then into “Quebrada de Escoipe” we'll get to Maray, from there we enter to the “Cuesta del Obispo”, curvy road that allows us to enjoy a panoramic view of the “Valle Encantado” and the little houses with corn and fruit fields.
The highest point is at 3384 meters above sea level at “Piedra del Molino”. Then we go through “Los Cardones” national park by the old Incas path. Arriving to Cachi we'll get a panoramic view of Nevado de Cachi and Payogasta. We'll visit Cachi's town and its Archeological museum and church.

In the northwest, there are the mountains of Nevado de Cachi, whose tops are covered with snow and can be seen from the city.
