Worth going, highly recommend. Friendly guide and driver who process rich knowledge of wildlife encounter and astrology. Decent bbq dinner with wine, while watching the marvellous sunset.
This was a really awesome day tour - strongly encourage visitors to this great state of WA to give it a go. Our guide Don was very informative and entertaining in equal measure. He was also kind enough to drop us back at our accommodation after the tour. The highlight of the tour must definitely be seeing the sun set over the horizon of the Indian Ocean. Stargazing was very educational, not just for kids but adults too.
I highly recommend this tour company and tour. I learnt how to take photos of the Milky Way and the glittering night sky from Hadrian of Lumineer Adventure Tours. He also brought a telescope in which I could see Jupiter and her four moons, as well as the glowing red ball that is Mars. We also saw the Southern Cross, Orion Belt, and Taurus because the area we were in - The Pinnacles Desert - was very dark. Emma, our driver and guide, is another powerhouse who set up our dinner at the Pinnacles, and drove us there and back safely (it was a 2h drive one-way). The tour also takes travellers to lookout points in Hangover Bay and Lancelin. Sandboarding was available in Lancelin (part of the tour).
It was a fantastic tour! Sandboarding was a very fun experience in a beautiful setting. The kids enjoyed it tremendously. The tour was well organized, with experienced guides. The diner delicious. They even managed the unexpected fat tire very well, despite the additional wait. The stargazing at Pinnacle was amazing. We saw so much, from Atlas comet to Saturne. Remember to dress warmly and bring a real camera. Phone can’t do justice to the beauty of the sky. Absolutely worth it!
