Distance: 22.1 km Time: 6-8 hours Elevation gain/loss (meters): 380+/740- General Info: After breakfast, we will start our trip walking through the siq of Petra, passing by the impressive carved monument "The Treasury" we continue hiking passing by the carved amphitheater and the royal tombs, then the trail changes south towards Wadi Sabra, to pass a small amphitheater. Continue along the trail, to reach a ridge with spectacular viewpoints and then descend to reach a Wadi intersection and continue south. You will encounter an off-road path leading to a paved road and finally reach the Gaa’ Mreibed where our wild campsite is to spend the night.

Distance: 14.3 km Time: 4-5 hours Elevation gain/loss (meters): 290+/320- General Info: Start by trekking southwest on the downhill paved road, to reach a colorful dark sandstone canyon and continue west along the canyon for 5 km. Exit the canyon, ascending the donkey path until you reach the larger Wadi Al-Saif. From here continue in an upstream direction, to reach large boulders, and beautiful red and white sandstone cliffs. We will setup camp in the heart of Wadi Al-Saif.

Distance: 13 km Time: 5 -6 hours Elevation gain/loss (meters): 165+/445- General info: Soon after leaving the camp, the trail rises up to reach the head of Wadi Al-Seif and then descends steeply to join Wadi Mshazza. Once again in the midst of wild mountains, the trail now heads South over a low pass into the next valley, leaving that to cross another pass to reach the head of Wadi Gseib. This descends generally South before bending W to the next camp on a shoulder around 4 km from the road in Wadi Araba.

Distance: 12.6 km Time: 5-6 hours Elevation gain/loss (meters): 495+/385- General Info: Leave Wadi Gseib campsite, re-entering the canyon for about a kilometer, where the route then makes its way back south into the mountains, following a donkey path. The path ascends into a beautiful colored canyon, reaching a viewpoint on top. Then, follow another descend into a sandstone canyon, exit the canyon and continue south to encounter sand dunes. where we will setup our camp for the night.

Distance: 22 km Time: 8-9 hours General Info: Set off by an early transfer to the gorge of Wadi ‘Hemier, one of the longest and yet most scenic wadis on the Jordan Trail. Trek almost 20 km along the canyon, encountering a change in geology moving from beautiful granite rock, to colorful sandstone, large boulders, water springs, wild vegetation, to extremely high cliffs, to then reach white chalky sandstone. Then continue north uphill along a camel path, winding out of the valley, to arrive at Al-Abbasiyah village. After the long hike ends, we will be transferred to Wadi Rum to spend the night.

General Info: Wake up in the magical desert of Wadi Rum, early breakfast at camp then we will ride our 4WD cars and go on a 3 hours desert safari, exploring the magnificent geological formations of Wadi Rum sandstone, and ancient petroglyphs, After the tour ends we will head back to the camp to have lunch and then depart back to Amman.
