Since its beginnings, Xel-Há has focused on having a concept of good environmental practices and programs, conservation of endemic species, research, continuous improvement and development of initiatives that reduce the impact on the environment. Some of them are the Integral Water and Solid Waste Management, Production, Rescue and Reforestation of native plants, Chemical-Free Sunscreen Exchange Program, and the Sea Turtle Conservation Program.
