Enjoy learning how to prepare Moroccan cuisine on the terrace of a traditional authentic Riad with the help of a local chef during this four-hour cooking class, and afterwards take you on a tour of the Majorelle Gardens.
Your experience guides you through the whole process, including the purchase of ingredients, which will be done first in a local souk (market). The chef will help you determine how to properly purchase the items you'll need for the different dishes you'll be cooking. You may even pick up a trick or two on how to negotiate a price, as well as important words or phrases you need to learn when shopping at a market. Back at the workshop, you'll be presented with a range of tools and utensils and the course can begin. You'll learn traditional cooking techniques, including the careful use of pottery. Throughout your workshop, you'll taste and enjoy Moroccan tea and snacks. A complete meal will be prepared in your hands: salads, a starter, bread, a main course of chicken tagine and bread, followed by fruit or vegetables for dessert. Developing a new skill in a new place is the best souvenir to take home!
