- If you do not require an Asahiyama Zoo admission ticket as an adult, please select the “Junior High School Student” fare.
- If you are participating in a wheelchair, please be accompanied by a companion.
- Children younger than elementary school age may ride for free if they do not require a seat. If a seat is required, the child fare will apply.
- Admission to Asahiyama Zoo is free for students up to junior high school age.
※Customers using the Junior High School Student fare will be asked to present a student ID when purchasing or exchanging tickets at the Regular Sightseeing Bus Ticket Counter. Please be sure to bring your student ID.
- Please wear comfortable walking attire.
- As a general rule, please exchange your ticket at the Regular Sightseeing Bus Ticket Counter next to the taxi stand at the North Exit of Sapporo Station by 15 minutes before the departure time.

Asahiyama Zoo is the northernmost zoo in Japan and is known for allowing visitors to observe animals in ways that reflect their natural behavior. The zoo features unique exhibit facilities such as the Seal House and the Polar Bear House, where the layout is designed to showcase animals up close. Other popular areas include the Orangutan House, the Spider Monkey & Capybara House, and the Chimpanzee Forest.
