    Cruising along the Thu Bon river, we will head towards Cua Dai estuary. On arrival at Duy Hai Fish market, the first thing you will notice is just how busy a real working market is. As we stroll around marveling at the array of seafood on offer we will also have the opportunity to chat with locals to learn about their lives and daily routines.

    Our next stop is the traditional craft village of Cua Khe, the home to “nuoc mam” (fish sauce) from this region. Cua Khehas existed for hundreds of years with the main products of the craft village being anchovy fish sauce and dried fish products for export. Fish sauce is made from anchovies and salt and left to ferment for several months.

    Back on the rural track, we head off to explore the countryside and hidden villages, to really get into the nitty gritty of local life... Our last stop will be to visit a local house where you can explore a bird nest’s cave and enjoy the unique cuisine.
