    Your tour guide will meet you at your hotel at 09:00 a.m.. Then, we will move to Pudong New Area. As a new and bustling district, Pudong offers visitors some of the most modern attractions, businesses, skyscrapers and shopping malls, all featuring the latest in entertainment, technology and fashion. In a mere twenty years, Pudong has boomed into one of the busiest and prosperous areas of the world, flourishing in the business of world trade and finance, prevailing in world technology and boasting some of the world's highest skyscrapers. Such as: Shanghai World Financial Center, Shanghai Tower, Shanghai Oriental Pearl Tower and Jin Mao Tower. We will walk along Lujiazui Ring Bridge which is good place to photograph skyscrapers and visit Shanghai Tower.

    The new landmark of Shanghai, the tallest building in Shanghai with a total height of 632 meters. The 118th floor of the tower has a indoor observation deck which is the world's highest indoor observation deck and called the 'Top of Shanghai Observatory'. Tourists are recommended to visit the exhibition hall on floor B1 first, and then take the express elevator to the 118th floor directly within only 55 seconds, its speed can reach 18 meters per second. Here, you have a bird’s-eye view of Shanghai. You will have time to stop and admire the scenery on both sides of the Huangpu River on the 119th floor. Then, we will transfer to Shanghai Jewish Refugees Museum and discover a lesser-known side of Shanghai's history.

    It is a museum commemorating the Jewish refugees who lived in Shanghai during World War II after fleeing Europe to escape the Holocaust. The museum features documents, photographs, films and personal items documenting the lives of some of the more than 20,000 Jewish residents of the Restricted Sector for Stateless Refugees, better known as the Shanghai Ghetto, during the Japanese occupation of Shanghai. See important sites from that era including the Jewish Refugees Museum (formerly Ohel Moishe Synagogue), Huoshan Park and Xiahai Temple. Learn from your informative guide about the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, hear about modern day life in the historic neighborhood and meet local residents on this fascinating tour. Then, we will walk along Duolun Road to visit life size bronze statues of the eminent writers and Luxun Park.

    Duolun Road, previously known as Darroch Road after a British missionary, is a tiny part of Shanghai that will transport you to a bygone era when Chinese literati and social elites were fashionable and making waves in the country's fabric in their many ways. This is a pedestrian street today and was home to many famous writers, artists, poets and social workersthrough the 1900s. The likes of Ding Ling, Rou Shi, Mao Dun and many others lived in different parts of this street and area. Hong De Tang Church This church is a grand structure on this street. Being a rare architectural structure, maybe the only one of its kind in the city, this attracts lots of attention from passers-by. The Christian church is built with Chinese architectural styles. If you are lucky, you may catch a wedding shoot underway here.
  • Lu Xun Memorial and Gravesite

    It Originally named Hongkou Park. 1956 is Luxuns 75th birthday, and it is also the memorial day of Luxuns 20th years death. So the goverment moved Luxuns tomb here and set a statue in memory of Luxun. The Luxun Memorial Hall was set in the same year. All these made the park become a place of memory. The park is renamed because of the Luxun Memorial Hall and Luxun Tomb. The area Luxun Tomb is about 1600 square meters. There are words written by Mao Zedong on the tombstone: the tomb of Luxun. There stands a bronze statue of Luxun in the grass in front of the tomb. It makes all the people feel respectful. Then, we will walk to Huanghe Road. There is a street filled with great little eateries, definitely a good place for a quick bite. According to your preference, your guide will recommend a place to eat, which could be a small local eatery or elegant cuisine restaurant. After lunch, we will take a cruise to enjoy the scenery along the Huangpu River.

    The Huangpu River divides two iconic but different Shanghai sights: modern skyscrapers in the Pudong area and 26 various buildings of different architectural styles on the west side. We will take a one-hour cruise along the Huangpu River to enjoy the beautiful scenery on both sides of the river including the Bund, the Oriental Pearl Tower, Shanghai Tower, Shanghai World Financial Center and Jin Mao Tower. Then, we will transfer to Yuyuan Old Street and experience the original Shanghai lifestyle.

It owes its special social attractions and rich commercial background to the fact that the earliest bank, gold shop, jeweler's store, wine shop and tea house of the city were all to be found here. Visiting the old alleys of Shanghai is a great way to discover the traditional culture of this city and experience the real life of the Shanghainese. We can walk to the Zigzag Nine Bend Bridge. Chinese people believe that the number nine symbolizes auspiciousness. Walking across the Bridge is said to bring people good luck. The Bridge leads to Mid-Lake Pavilion Teahouse, which is the oldest teahouse in Shanghai. Back to hotel after all the activities listed in the itinerary and end of the service.
